Hello to everyone here,
I am new member and have to make a new post because I dont want my profile to be deleted  I have some experience from playing 2007 database for pcm2 and now I am at the end of 3rd season with tinkoff. When I tried first it was unbelievable for me to see beatufil graphic work that was done by ppdb! Database and everything is just fantastic! Many races I went on my own were made really realisticly and also startlists- like in real life. But I wonder if there are possiblle ways to change other parts of the game- after one season there was no single talented youngster no more when making scouting. Other thing was the unrealistic race diffiulty- usually in spring it was quite difficuilt to win some races- like in real. But when i came to the end of the season i was able to win everything with one single rider that saved his shape for that part of the season ( boasson hagen in year 2008 in my game won Tour de Pologne, WC, Zurich, Lombardia, Paris Tours, + all other 1.1 and HC hilly races he started. Overall it was not difficuilt to be very dominant and sometimes I had first 5 riders in 1.1 races that are in real really hard to win. Question is which difficuilty I experienced. I played on Hard. When I played Extreme I found it sometimes unrealistic. It was annoying when you had 83 level climber in top form around 90 and guys with 75 climbing were better even you played with no attacking style and tried to stay behind the wheel!!:-) I have no idea if there are ways to improve something of this in 2008 db. But I have to say I enjoyed a lot of fun and great playing with 2007db and without it Pro cycling manager was just one week fun for me. Game alone is just for children 3-13 (they didnt stick that limit to the game, there is just 3+) :o I just ordered on web pro cycling manager 08 because I saw that lot of people starting big work on db for this game here. I have big hopes for PCM4 :yir:

Hi all,

I'm playing this game a lot, especially with the PPDB database, and I must say I love it. Apart from some tiny bugs I notice, it's extremely realistic.

I think it's known, but the bug I found the most annoying is this (I think it's known, but I don't want to go over 91 pages :)). I'm playing with VitaFytea in the Tour of Faso. The Tour of Faso is an important race, looking at the goals. Everything went allright until 31/10, where I lost 4 of my players because of transfers, and they all left the Tour! The next race, I couldn't click on the names in the rankings because otherwise the game crashed, so I simulated the stage, and here's a classic CM3 bug:

After that, all those riders were removed, but at the last (simulated) stage, it happened again. I got second, with a difference of 1h48. Shame, but still a great database! I can't qait for the PCM4 one =D>

It's a known problem.
Point is that we made the mistake, trying to have part of these Tours also in the calendar in november like it is for real life. The game however can't handle this. As off november 1, the AI starts to implement transfers and riders who stopped their career every time you jump to a next day. So riders that are active in a Tour and have their contract ended that same day by the AI due whatever reason, will appear without a team the next day or are connected to a team that didnt even start in that particular race. Result: screwed up rankings etc.
To go short: we tried to do the impossible there and learned from that mistake ;)

Hello, I'm a new member.
I play a career with the Plakker07Unlimited. It's a fantastic database, but I have a small problem: Why change the line profiles are not a year? Is this normal when Plakker07 or I have an error in the installation done? Thanks for help

That has been removed on purpose because that feature was to instabile and caused too many crashes.
So yes, it's normal.
